Lahore: Servant killer’s remand extended
LAHORE: A Model Town judicial magistrate on Tuesday extended three-day physical remand of the woman who had allegedly clubbed her 12-year-old servant to death for not feeding her dog.
On Tuesday, Kahna Police produced the accused, Sadia Asif, before the court and sought seven-day extension to her physical remand to carry out further investigation. However, the court extended three days of physical remand of the accused, directing the police to produce her again before the court by August 26.
Sadia, a resident of Valencia Housing Society, had allegedly killed her servant, Taqi Usman of Chiniot District. According to FIR on the complaint of the deceased’s father, Taqi was working at house of Sadia Asif. On last Friday, Taqi forgot to feed Sadia’s dog over which she got infuriated and thrashed Taqi with the help of a club. As a result, Taqi sustained serious injuries and died in a hospital.
It is also said that Sadia bundled the body of Taqi Usman and went to Taqi’s house in Chiniot where she tried to convince the family for reconciliation over her ëmistakeí but the family refused.
