Man killed in Haripur
HARIPUR: A man was killed after being hit by a Havelian-bound train near the railway station here on Tuesday. Police and family sources said Nazar Ahmed, 45, of Roshan Abad, was crossing the railway track near railway station when he was hit by the train.
His body was cut into two pieces, police and eyewitnesses said. The deceased was reportedly suffering from impaired hearing and could not hear the horn that the engine driver applied several times before hitting him.
It may be added that the Roshan Abad, Mohalla railway station, Talokar Town, Masoom Abad and several other mohallas are situated along the railway track having no railway crossing.
