Lahore: Anti vehicle lifting squad nabs two car lifters
LAHORE: The Lahore Anti Vehicle Lifting Staff (Model Town Division) have arrested two culprits of the Pathan car lifter gang, and have recovered five cars worth more than Rs 35,00,000 from their possession.
According to a handout issued on Saturday, on the directive of Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Ahmed Raza Tahir, SSP Investigation Abdul Razzaq Chemma directed SP CRO Sajjad Hussain Manj to take effective measures against car lifter gangs. The SP CRO created a special team under the supervision of DSP Anti Vehicle Lifting Staff Saleem Mukhtar Butt, which was comprised of Sub Inspector Muhammad Rafique and other police officials. The police team worked hard day and night and arrested two members of the Pathan car lifting gang and recovered five cars from their possession.
