2 would-be suicide bombers held
DERA ISMAIL KHAN: The security forces on Monday arrested two would-be suicide bombers and recovered a cache of arms during a search operation in the district, official sources said.
Talking to reporters, Station Commander Brig Mansoor Aziz said that the forces recovered the arms after a 14-hour long operation. However, he did not disclose the location where the operation had been conducted. He said the forces recovered 200 mortar shells, 100 rocket launchers, an anti-aircraft gun, 400 rounds, explosives and detonators.
Brig Mansoor said that the forces arrested a few days ago two would-be suicide bombers who had been planning attacks in Dera Ismail Khan district during Eid. The station commander said that both would-be bombers were around 18 years of age.
