Charsadda: Man, girl killed over video shoot
CHARSADDA: A young man and girl were shot dead on Thursday after the former made a video of the latter with his cellphone and sold it to a local CD shop, residents and police said. The man was identified as Khalid Shah and the girl, daughter of Said Rasool.
Akbar Shah, father of the deceased Khalid, reported to Tangi police that accused Nasir Shah and Sher Khan gunned down his son in his presence and later killed their niece.
Residents told this correspondent that Khalid had made a video footage of the girl on mobile phone and later sold it to a CD shop in Tangi bazaar. The police have registered the case. Meanwhile, eight more people were killed in different incidents during the last 24 hours.
In Prang, two persons killed their nephew due to a family feud in Babra area while in Rajar area a girl Nagena, 10, was electrocuted when she tried to switch on an electric fan.
In Saddar Garhi, one Yasin reportedly shot dead his sister-in-law and one Saeedullah in honour-related case in the jurisdiction of Shabqadar police station. The accused Yasin was also killed in retaliatory firing, the police said.
In another incident, one Bilal told police that his sister, Lubna, was killed by her husband Imran and his accomplices Qasim and Pervez.
In another case, one Faiz Mohammad told police that one Tariq opened indiscriminate firing on his son, Sohail, in his presence and killed him on the spot.
Meanwhile, Marvi, 8, died after a poisonous lizard bit her in Tarnab area. Cases have been registered in the respective police stations and investigations are underway.
