House trespass; Court summons four cops on 16th
DASKA: Additional Sessions Judge Sheikh Sajjad on Friday summoned four policemen on September 16 in a petition filed against them for house trespassing and abducting a man and his guest.
In a petition, Shabbir Ahmad said that he was having dinner with his family in his house when seven people, including four policemen, allegedly entered his house and took him and his guest Asghar Ali to the city police station on August 9. The complainant further alleged that Javed Ahmad, Waqar and two other policemen snatched Rs 7,800, two mobile phones and six tola gold ornaments from them. He said that the police had implicated them in a case of selling liquor. He said that he went to the police station, but the police allegedly refused to register a case against seven accused, including four policemen. He appealed to the judge to save him from the highhandedness of the policemen.
