Islamabad: 13 outlaws arrested in capital
Islamabad: The Islamabad Police arrested 13 suspects and recovered illegal arms, liquor and hashish from their possession. A spokesman for the Islamabad Police said that the Nilore Police arrested seven accused.
He said that the suspects were identified as Tauqeer Ahmed, Zeeshan Ahmed, Adeel Akbar, Azhar Mahmood, Khawar Ayub, Amir Iqbal and Qasim Rashid. The police team managed to recover five pistols, two 12-bore guns and ammunition from their possession.
Personnel of the Golra Police, during routine patrolling, arrested two accused and recovered one 12-bore gun and one pistol with 30 rounds from their possession.
The Bhara Kahu Police arrested an accused, Liaqat Ali, and recovered one 30-bore pistol from him. The Industrial Area Police arrested a bootlegger identified as Shahbaz Gul and recovered 24 bottles of liquor from him.
The Sabzi Mandi Police arrested two accused identified as Khurram Khurshid and Bakhtiar and recovered three bottles of liquor and one-kilogram charas from them.
The Shahzad Town Police arrested Shaukat Mahmood and recovered 20 bottles of liquor from him.
