Lahore: Man arrested for arranging entrance test
LAHORE: Gujjarpura Police has arrested Taimoor Mushtaq s/o Mushtaq Ahmad, a resident of Shalimar Town, red handed while receiving Rs 20,000 for allegedly arranging leaked entrance test paper for admission to engineering programmes 2011.
According to a press statement issued from University of Engineering & Technology (UET), an FIR has been registered against the culprit while investigation to unearth other members of the gang is in progress.
The university authorities have advised the candidates not to pay heed to any rumours about the leakage of entrance test paper. Test leak accused bailed: An additional district and sessions judge on Friday granted bail to an accused of leaking entrance test paper of the University of Engineering and Technology (UET).
The court has accepted bail of accused Atif on submission of surety bonds of Rs 100,000. According to the case, complainant Lt Col (retd) Farooq Ahmed had registered an FIR in the Gujarpura police station under sections 409 (criminal breach of trust by a public servant) and 109 (abetting) of Pakistan Penal Code against Aif and five others for allegedly leaking entrance test paper of the UET.
