9 outlaws including two fake IB officials arrested
ISLAMABAD: Federal Police had arrested two persons in the limits of Sabzi Mandi Police Station, who grabbed people by showing themselves as Intelligence Bureau (IB) officials, a police spokesman said on Saturday. Spokesman said that on the tip of informer a Sabzi Mandi Police official apprehended Aftab Haider and Tahir Abbasi near sector I-10 red handed when they grabbing a person Saud Ahmed.
First Information Report (FIR) was registered against them under section 382, 411 and 170. During preliminary investigation it was revealed that the Haider and Abbasi had made a proper group and they looted people.
The spokesman said that investigation was under way and more arrests were expected of similar group. Separately, Capital police had arrested seven persons from different areas of the city and recovered three pistols and 1-kilogram hashish from their possession, a police spokesman said on Saturday. Sub-Inspectors of Golra and Tarnol Police Stations Nusrat Ali and Zahid Hussain arrested three accused Fazal Muhammad, Faisal and Sabir Hussain.
Besides this a drug pusher Bashir Hussain arrested in the limits of Sabzi Mandi Police Station having 1-Kg hashish.
