Girl, his friend held in triple murder case
KARACHI: Defence police have apprehended two suspects, a young girl Tanzeem and her boyfriend Rehan in the murder case of Karachi Electric Supply Company’s legal adviser Fahimul Kareem and two others, including a young girl. They were arrested during a raid at their residences in Mauripur, police said.
Fahim along with his friend Wajid Mughal and the friend’s assistant Quratul Ain were found dead at Mughal’s flat in DHA, Phase II on Sept 6. SHO Raja Mushtaq said that police exposed the mystery behind the case through a mobile phone call records. He said the suspects killed the three over a money dispute, adding that Mughal had to pay Rs 50,000 to Tanzeem but he along with Fahim and Qurat were making lame excuses and insulting her. The officer said that the suspected girl said that the victims also attempted her to rape, so she took help of her boyfriend and planned to kill them. He further said that the suspects had also confessed to their crime, adding they would be brought to a court on Monday.
