Islamabad: 2 human smugglers arrested
Islamabad: The Anti-Human Smuggling Cell (AHSC) of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested two human traffickers wanted by the agency, during a raid at a house in Bhara Kahu, a spokesman for the AHSC said.
FIA Director Inam Ghani, upon receiving many complaints against the human smuggling mafia, set up a team to arrest the agents involved in the human smuggling. The FIA s raiding party arrested two persons from a house in Bhara Kahu. The accused have been identified as Mohammad Niaz Rana belonging to Sheikhupura and Aurangzeb Bhatti a resident of Hafizabad. FIA also recovered 8 Pakistani passports from their possession.
Both the agents have been allegedly involved in the illegal business of sending people to Malaysia without any licence. FIR (No:929/11 dated 11/9/11) has been lodged with the AHSC under section 18/22 and 6 Passport Act and 109 PPC against the suspects.
