Karachi: Couple remanded in triple murder case
KARACHI, Sept 12: Two suspects allegedly involved in the murder of a legal adviser to the Karachi Electric Supply Company and his two friends were remanded in police custody for interrogation for five days.
The suspects — Rehan Khan Niazi and Tazeen alias Jasmine — were produced in the court of Judicial Magistrate (south) Hatim Aziz Solangi.
The KESC legal adviser, Fahim-ul-Karim, Wajid Mughal and Qurrat-ul-Ain alias Ainee were found shot dead in the apartment-cum-office of Mr Karim on Sept 5.
Assistant Public Prosecutor Syed Shamim Ahmed requested the court on behalf of the investigation officer to grant the physical custody of the suspects as the investigation against them was still in progress.
