3 awarded death in kidnapping case
Rawalpindi: Anti-Terrorist Court (ATC) No-II, Rawalpindi, Judge Syed Pervez Ali Shah on Wednesday awarded death sentence to three accused involved in kidnapping of a young girl. The court also ordered for confiscation off property of the convicts as well.
Those awarded death sentence include Muhammad Naeem, Shaukat Mehmood and Muhammad Yaseen. Shalimar Police Station registered a case under Section 365-A (kidnapping for ransom) against seven persons for kidnapping a young girl (she did not want to mention her name) and demanded ransom of million of rupees in 2009.
Meanwhile, Anti-Terrorist Court (ATC) No-II, Rawalpindi, issued forever arrest warrants against two accused, Malik Abid and Aziz-ur-Rehman, allegedly involved in murdering Shahbaz Bhatti, former minister for minority affairs.
