ISLAMABAD: Additional Sessions Judge Wajahat Hussain on Monday ordered station house officer (SHO) Abpara Police Station to register a first information report (FIR) against alleged persons for sexually harassing, threatening and detaining a 15-year-old girl and her mother.
Meanwhile, the police official submitted an inquiry report on the orders of said court. The report stated that main reason behind whole dispute was a rented house where mother and daughter resided. While defense counsel of the victims on the occasion produced the witness, belonging to the area of house owner. The witness stated that the allegation against house owner was true because the alleged person had been taunting the girls of his own area. He said Karim sons, Manzoor Ahmed and Mahmood Ahmed, had also been men of rough and vulgar attitude as his father.
So at last she filed the application in which she stated that she lived in Sector G-7/3 along with her mother since March 5, 2011, owned by Karim. She stated that due to unknown reasons the house Karim asked them to vacate house while no dues were outstanding and other utilities were paid. “We asked him that we’ll shift after some adjustments somewhere but he was not ready for that,” she said.
In the application she stated that in July 12, Karim with his sons and two unknown persons forcefully entered her house and detained her and her mother in a room. She said Karim started slapping abusing and scolding her mother.
She said Karim along with unknown persons forcefully took one of room in her house and locked the door. She said the alleged persons starting abusing, pressurising, adducing and threatening her and detained and harassed her there for more than three hour in the locked room.
She also filed an application with relevant police station on July 14 but no action was taken against alleged persons due to their influence.
