Miranshah: Official kidnapped
MIRANSHAH: Unknown armed men on Monday kidnapped an official of the political administration from Miranshah, the headquarters of North Waziristan, and shifted him to an undisclosed location. Sources told The News that a group of armed men who had covered their faces intercepted Mohammad Alam Jan, political muharrar of the political administration, in Miranshah bazaar and bundled him into a car.
Eyewitness said that Mohammad Alam Jan offered resistance that caused him some injuries. The armed men, however, overpowered him and put him in a car and shifted him to an unknown location. The official belonged to Hamzoni village but lived at the Civil Colony in Miranshah.
