Missing man’s body found, killers held
KASUR: The Allahabad police claimed to have solved the murder mystery, arrested the killers and recovered the body of a man who went missing two months ago.
Abdul Hameed of Jajal village wanted to marry his relative Sonia, daughter of Abdul Sattar. Abdul Hameed had given Rs 60,000 to Abdul Sattar for marrying his daughter, but delayed the marriage on one or another pretext. Later, Abdul Hameed started demanding his money. Two months ago, Abdul Hameed went out of his house, but did not return. His family searched him, but to no avail.
Fahmida Bibi, sister of Abdul Hameed, reported the matter to Allahabad police. She alleged that Abdul Sattar had kidnapped Abdul Hameed. The police started investigation and arrested Abdul Sattar who later confessed to crime. Abdul Sattar disclosed that he called Abdul Hameed to his house at Ameen Shaheed Colony, Kanganpur and killed him with his wife Jamila and daughter Sonia. He said that they had buried the body in their house. The police have registered a case against Abdul Hameed, Jamila, Sonia and others.
