Peshawar: Man kills sister over petty issue
PESHAWAR: A teenaged girl was shot dead allegedly by her brother over a petty issue in Bakhshi Pul area here on Wednesday, police said. An official of the Khazana Police Station said that Farman opened fire at his 14-year-old sister, Uzma Bibi, after exchanging hot words with his family members over a domestic issue. The girl, he said, was shifted to a local hospital but she succumbed to her wounds. A murder case was registered at Khazana Police Station against the accused, who managed to escape.
Meanwhile, Ashraf Khan, working as a security guard at a private office, was electrocuted at his residence in Chitralli Mohalla in Nasir Bagh area while he was repairing an electric wire.
