Court orders FIR against man for torturing family
ISLAMABAD: Additional Sessions Judge Yaar Muhammad Gondal on Thursday ordered I-9 Police Station to register First Information Report (FIR) against a man for creating troubles for his family and arrest him soon. The court also directed police to provide protection to the family.
Meanwhile, the I-9 police official submitted an inquiry report about the matter upon the orders of the court. The report stated that Tahir Moeen, the accused, was mentally disturbed person and many complaints had been registered against him. The report further stated that Moeen was headache not only for his family but also for his neighbors as they lodged many complaints against him. While Moeen also lodged complaints against his wife and mother and other relatives and submitted applications to Chief Justice Pakistan, Chief Minister Punjab and inspector general police (IGP) through Internet. “Last week Moeen called Rescue15 for immediate help and when the police officials reached I-10 Markaz, he told the officials that a vendor was selling stale samosas and strict action should be taken against him,” the report said.
He also emailed applications to USA secret agency CIA and told them that his brother-in laws living in the USA were terrorist, which created a big problem for family but later the agency closed the case, as they did not find any links of the accused with terrorists.
Later his mother, 54, filed an application under section 22-A (for not registering FIR) against Mooen in the court ASJ Gondal. In her application, Ayesha, stated that she was a widow and retired government servant, living in her own house along with Moeen, his wife and his children. Ayesha said that Moeen was jobless. She said Tahir had destroyed all her savings, family property and also had stolen the ornaments and other valuables from his own house. The mother further said that his son would often beat her, his wife and children, if the family didn’t fulfill his demands regarding money.
On Thursday Additional Sessions Judge ordered I-9 SHO to register FIR against alleged person and also check his mental condition because his abnormal acts had created many problems for his family. The court also directed them to arrest the accused as soon as possible and provide legal protection to his mother and wife from her son’s bad elements.
