Islamabad: Gang of ‘aamils’ arrested
ISLAMABAD: The Shahzad Town Police, on public complaints, managed to arrest a gang of ‘aamils’, which used to mint money from people. The gang used to mint money and gold ornaments from people on the pretext of doubling them pretending themselves as ‘aamils’, the police spokesman said.
Police, upon receiving complaints, formed a team headed by Shahzad Town Police Station SHO Yunus Gujar that investigated into the complaints and managed to arrest a fake ‘aamil’ identified as Pir Saqam, her wife Taazeem Akhtar and one Shabir Hussain. Police also recovered minted money and ornaments from them and started investigation.
