Karachi: 2 TTP suspects remanded
Karachi: Judicial Magistrate (Malir) Aslam Sheikh on Thursday remanded two suspects reportedly belonging to the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in police custody till October 5.
Noman alias Ganja and Asim Mehsud alias Ajmal belonging to the banned outfit were produced in the court on Thursday morning under tight security arrangements with their heads hooded.
The Crime Investigation Department (CID) arrested both during a raid in Shah Latif Town on Wednesday. They have also seized explosives, a suicide jacket and weapons from their possession.
Both were with the TTP and are said to have trained suicide bombers and use to send children to Waziristan for training. The CID police recovered 25 kilogrammes of explosives, a suicide jacket, two detonators, 35 ft of detonating wire and two Kalashnikovs from their possession.
