Lahore: 2 shot injured
LAHORE: A middle-aged man died of heart attack and two others were injured in a firing incident near 60-Foot Road in Juggian Nagra on Thursday.
Iqbal Town SP (Operations) Muntazir Mehdi said that Rana Faheem opened fire on Moazzam Shah after exchanging harsh words over the occupation of a three-and-a-half marla house.
He said the firing left Moazzam and passerby Ahsan Sohail injured, adding that Moazzam’s fellow Lala Akram apparently died of heart attack because of firing. The injured were admitted to a hospital.
The SP said the investigation revealed that a woman, Lubna, received token money from two parties for selling her house. She first received money from Faheem and then from Moazzam.
He said Moazzam along with Akram reached the house with his luggage to take possession of the house and later Rana Faheem and his two accomplices also reached there.
