Lahore: 3 smugglers arrested
LAHORE: Pakistan Rangers (Punjab) claimed on Thursday to have arrested three smugglers and seized from them narcotics, cell phones, illegal weapons and a motorcycle.
According to a spokesman, Rangers after receiving information cardoned off the border area of Head Sulemanki and managed to capture three suspects riding a motorbike. They have been identified as Muhammad Ashraf of Sadd village (Kasur), Ahmad Ali of Mancahanabad (Bahawalnagar) and Muhammad Afzal of Aminpura (Kasur). Officials seized from the suspects 8-kg heroin, 200 gram opium, three cell phones, two SIMs, 25 pistols and their motorcycle. Further investigation is under way.
