ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police on Saturday apprehended two persons wanted to police in various murder cases and also nabbed nine other outlaws from various areas of the city, besides seizing hashish and wine from their possession, a police spokesman said.
LAHORE: The Punjab Highway Patrol (PHP) arrested seven suspects and recovered six unlicenced firearms including one Kalashinkov, a rifle, four pistols, 20 litters liquor from different areas of the Punjab on Sunday.
DERA ISMAIL KHAN: The Dera police rounded up 20 outlaws involved in various sectarian killings and terrorist activities. A police spokesman said a huge cache of arms and ammunition was also recovered from their possession.
HYDERABAD: Police arrested four dacoits and seized weapons and snatched motorcycles in the limits of the Market police station on Sunday.
Lahore: The Punjab Highway Patrol (PHP) seized unlicensed arms, including a Kalashnikov, on Sunday. According to a handout, the PHP seized one illicit Kalashnikov, one rifle, four pistols, 78 bullets and 20-litre liquor and arrested seven persons who were under the influence. Cases have been registered against the accused at local police stations. The PHP DIG has appreciated the patrolling officials.
Lahore: City Raiwind police have arrested a man who had allegedly killed a 42-year-old woman nearly one and a half years back and buried her body in the courtyard of his house.
LAHORE: The Raiwind City police exhumed the remains of a 45-year-old woman from a house in neighbourhood Aminpura on Sunday. Sughran Sarfraz went missing one-and-a-half year ago. Police said Sadiq Mochi confessed to strangulating her over a monetary issue and burying her in the courtyard.
Lahore: Lorri Adda police arrested three suspects near Minar-e-Pakistan on Sunday. Police said the arrested persons hailed from Afghanistan.
BAHAWALNAGAR: The DPO has suspended two policemen including an SI and ASI for allegedly torturing an elderly man to death and has ordered registration of case against them.
Rawalpindi: Anti-Terrorist Court (ATC) Judge Shahid Rafiq on Saturday fixed the date of November 5 to frame charges against accused allegedly involved in Benazir Bhutto assassination case.
