ISLAMABAD: The Bara Kahu police arrested 72 Afghans during a search operation at different localities of the area on Friday, police said.
Heavy contingent of police along with anti-terrorism squad, bomb disposal squad, and sniffer dogs participated in the search operation under the supervision of SP City Capt (retired) Mohammad Ilyas to clean the area from the suspected person.
During the search the police took 40 Afghans in their custody from different localities of Bara Kahu, 20 of them were found staying without any legal documents. The arrestees were shifted to police station for further legal action.
