Lahore: Robbers kill two men on resistance
Lahore: Robbers killed to men in different parts of the City on Saturday. A 40-year-old man, Tariq, a resident of Multan Road, was shot dead by robbers in the Chung area.
The police said Tariq and his colleague Umair, 20, were on their way when some unidentified robbers intercepted them near the shrine of Adalat Shah and shot and wounded them on resistance. The victims were shifted to hospital where Tariq died.
Meanwhile, robbers killed a man and took away cash and expensive clothes from a boutique in the Gulberg area.
The deceased, identified as Shabir Khokhar, a resident of the Shera Kot area, served as a sweeper in the boutique. The police suspected that the robbers hanged the victim to death and later fled with cash and clothes. Both bodies have been removed to morgue.
