Islamabad: Capital police arrest terrorist
ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police have arrested a terrorist from sector G-6/1 and recovered four hand grenades from his possession, police said.
City Zone police and Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) wing of Islamabad arrested the suspected terrorist from sector G-6/1 identified as Qari Inayat. He was wanted by Islamabad Police in case No 332 registered on August 26, 2011 with Aabpara police station and in case no 89 registered with Secretariat police station on June 12, 2011.
He has links with Sardar Ali Khattak who is allegedly involved in various terrorism activities in Islamabad and arrested a few days before by Secretariat police from are of ‘Loi Dandi.’ IGP Islamabad Bani Amin Khan and SSP Muhammad Yusuf Malik have appreciated this performance and announced cash prizes and commendation certificates for those policemen who arrested this terrorist.
IGP Bani Amin said that Islamabad police is committed to ensure protection to the life and property of every citizens and every possible effort would be made to fulfil this responsibility.
