Lahore: Stolen rice truck recovered
LAHORE: Punjab Highway Patrol on Tuesday recovered a stolen truck loaded with 40 bags of rice. According to details, PHP Sargodha recovered a truck loaded with 40 bags of rice from grain market. Two accused namely Muhammad Mumtazof Otyaan and Haji Ahmad of Sargodha were also arrested.
Meanwhile, around five unidentified bodies were recovered from different parts of the City whereas six persons including three girls were arrested in the condition of merry making on Tuesday. According to police spokesman police recovered a 25-year-old mad dead from Data Nagar in Badami Bagh, a 60-year-old unknown man was found dead from Gowalmandi, 22-year-old from Sabzimandi, 35-year-old person from Main Bazaar in Harbanspura whereas a 30-year-old youth was found dead in Hanjerwal area on the same day.
Police concerned said that after recovering the bodies numerous announcements were made in nearby mosques but none of the citizens claimed to own them. Later, the bodies were shifted to the City morgue for autopsy.
Meanwhile, six persons namely Ali, Arshad, Iqbal, Asima, Naila and Perveen were arrested from a local hotel in Nulakha. The hotel’s owner, however, managed to flee from the crime scene.
