Peshawar: Body of promising cricketer found
PESHAWAR: A promising cricketer who went missing on Sunday was found dead here, his brother said Tuesday. Nauman Habib, hailing from Peshawar, was kidnapped from Hayatabad town. It was learnt that he had been axed to death. He was a first-class bowler and had performed well in the recently held National Twenty-20 Championship.
Nauman was playing for the Peshawar team. His brother Adnan said that they approached the local police to lodge the first information report after Nauman disappeared but they refused to do so. On Monday night, the Tatara police found the body of a young man dumped in Phase-VI of the upscale Hayatabad town. The body was sent to the city morgue where the relatives identified Nauman Habib.
