Karachi: Valiant woman fights bandits for half an hour
Karachi: A woman of Soomar Kandani village in Malir fought bravely alone with three bandits who barged into her cattle pen to take away her animals on Sunday evening. She overpowered one robber and while the other two fled.
According to police, three bandits barged into the cattle pen of Muhammad Ayub Khaskheli when he was out to sell milk in the nearby Jam Goth. When the bandits tried to untie the animals, the wife of Ayub appeared to challenge the bandits.
She took an iron bar and fought with them for half an hour after, forcing two to flee and overpowering the third robber who was later handed over to the police in an injured condition.
During the scuffle, neighbours also rushed to the woman’s help. The arrested bandit, identified as Saad son of Muhammad Khan Baloch, was thrashed by the mob before handing him over to the Memon Goth police. The cattle pen owner, Ayub Khaskheli, has lodged an FIR against three suspects — Saad, Shahzad and Rahim Khan.
