Karachi: Security guard among two killed
Karachi: A private security guard and another man were was shot dead in different incidents on Tuesday. Hakim, 32, was shot dead, by his colleague, Muhammad Qasim, after an exchange of hot words in the Steel Mills area, while they were performing their duties.
The body of the deceased was shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for legal formalities. According to the police, the accused managed to flee the scene.
Meanwhile, a motorcyclist was shot dead in the Mobina Town police limits on Tuesday. Abdul Lateef, 26, was shot dead by two armed men riding a motorcycle on Abul Hassan Ispahani Road. The incident created panic in the area.
Some locals informed the police who reached the scene of the crime and shifted his body to the JPMC for legal formalities. Police said that Lateef lived in the same police jurisdiction. They termed the murder an act of targeted killing.
