Islamabad: Police arrests 40 absconders during last 14 days
ISLAMABAD: Police have nabbed 40 absconders involved in heinous crime during last two weeks in its special crackdown against outlaws on Wednesday, a spokesman for police said. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Muhammad Yousuf Malik directed all police officials including Sub-Divisional Police Officers (SDPOs) and Station House Officers (SHOs) to launch massive crackdown against proclaimed offenders and court absconders.
The SSP also directed all heads of police stations to start their renewed efforts to arrest outlaws. A total of 40 absconders including 19 proclaimed offenders and 21 court absconders have been apprehended during last 14 days.
