Lahore: BISE employee suspended for taking ‘bribe’
LAHORE: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE), Lahore, suspended and handed over an employee to police after he was caught red-handed taking bribe from candidates.
According to a press release issued here on Saturday, BISE Chairman Dr Allah Bakhsh Malik received a complaint from a candidate that Intermediate Branch’s junior clerk Qasim Anwar was demanding bribe for issuing Inter certificate.
On the chairman’s instructions, the secretary of the Board raided the branch concerned and caught the said employee red-handed taking bribe from the candidates.
The BISE chairman, after suspending and handing over the employee to the police, warned the Board officials against any corruption and asked them to solve their problems on priority basis.
