Peshawar: Students booked for taking admission on fake documents
PESHAWAR: The administration of the Islamia College University has lodged FIR against eight students for taking admission on fake documents, police said.
Two of the students, Sufaid Sail, a resident of Swat, and Daud Shah, have been arrested and cases registered under section 419 and 420 of the PPC. Efforts were on to arrest the remaining six students, police said.
Police said one of the students, Ijaz Ali Shah, a second year student, sat in the first year examination using fake documents last year, while the remaining seven students had taken admission in first year during the current session.
