Islamabad: Police arrests 17 outlaws in capital
ISLAMABAD: Police on Friday apprehended 17 outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered 47 liquor bottles, 500-gram of hashish, weapons and snatched car from their possession, a spokesman for police said.
Station House Officer (SHO) Bhara Kahu Inspector Mehboob Ahmed, Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASIs) Muhammad Ishaq, Javed Iqbal and Muhammad Usman apprehended accused Arshad Mehmood, Arfanul Haq, Ehsan Ullah, Muhammad Sohail, Tufail Ahmed and Mamoon Masih and recovered snatched car, four pistols, 500-gram of hashish and 45 liquor bottles from their possession.
Sub-Inspector Liaqat Ali of Kohsar police apprehended two beggars while ASI Sabir Hussain Shah nabbed Rizwan and Imran for possessing liquor bottles. ASI Asghar Ali of Tarnol police arrested Lal Syed for keeping 12-bore gun.
