Karak: Four booked for land fraud
KARAK, Oct 29: The anti-corruption establishment (ACE), Karak unit, has registered a case against four persons for allegedly making changes in the land record of a woman with the connivance of some revenue officials.
Officials said on Saturday a woman, Zari Jana, resident of Solikhel village, Takht Nusrati, had filed an application in the ACE that Maulana Aseel Badshah, Mohammad Rasool, Arsalan and Naveed Iqbal, residents of Solikhel village, had transferred her daughter Rukhsana’s land in their names with the help of revenue officials.
The officials said the case was registered against the four accused under various sections of the PPC. They said inquiry was also continuing against the revenue officials. Legal action would be taken against them if found guilty of conspiring with the accused to illegally transfer the land in their names.
