Lahore: Man confesses to killing two women
LAHORE: The Raiwind City police exhumed the remains of a 45-year-old woman from a house in neighbourhood Aminpura on Sunday. Sughran Sarfraz went missing one-and-a-half year ago. Police said Sadiq Mochi confessed to strangulating her over a monetary issue and burying her in the courtyard.
Police said Sadiq had also killed another elderly woman, Bashiran Bibi, on Sept 30, when she had visited his house to receive the rent of the house.
Investigation Officer Muhammad Iqbal said Sadiq was arrested a couple of days ago after the family of Bashiran spotted her body buried in Sadiq’s house. Sadiq later told police he had also killed Sughran over a monetary issue.
He said police had exhumed the skeleton of Sughran from a house in Aminpura on the information of Sadiq, father of eight.
The police officer quoted the murderer as saying that his daughters had helped him bury Bashiran in the courtyard.
