Karachi: Four men abducted, tortured to death
Karachi: At least four bodies bearing torture marks were recovered from different parts of the city on Monday. The bullet-riddled body of Kashi Khan, 28, was found near Muslimabad in Qasba Colony in Pirabad police limits. The corpse was taken to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for legal formalities. Khan lived in the same area.
Police said that unidentified criminals had kidnapped the man from an unknown location, killed him and dumped his body.
The body of Taj Muhammad, 30, bearing torture marks, was recovered from the Shaheed graveyard situated in Metroville, SITE-A police jurisdiction. A gravedigger saw the body and informed police, who carried it to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for an autopsy.
According to the MLO, Taj was strangulated and his body bore severe torture marks. He was a resident of Frontier Colony. Police said that the man was kidnapped and tortured to death by some criminals, who later dumped his body in the graveyard.
Meanwhile, the body of an unidentified man of about 30 years of age was found lying near the Lee Market Chowk in the Napier police area. It was moved to Civil Hospital for an autopsy, where the MLO said that the man was brutally tortured and strangulated.
Police said that the victim looked like a Baloch and he was also kidnapped.
The bullet-riddled body of another 30-year-old unidentified man was recovered from the bushes near Chakra Hotel in Gulshan-e-Maymar police limits.
