Hafizabad: Nurse among three booked for stealing drugs
HAFIZABAD: A case Under Section 120-B PPC has been registered at City Police Station against a DHQ Hospital nurse Tehmeena Iqbal, her husband Zulfiqar Ali and Kareem Ali of Kareem Medical Store on the charge of allegedly stealing medicines for government and dumping these medicines outside the hospital to defame the DHQ Hospital MS to pave way for achieving their ulterior motives. The case has been registered on the application of MS Dr Muhammad Aslam.
According to FIR, the accused had stolen medicines from the hospital and dumped the same outside the hospital on the night between July 22 and 23, 2011 which were recovered on the information of night Supervisor and watchman of the hospital. On the application of the MS, the DPO ordered an inquiry to ferret out the facts. After a thorough inquiry, it was established that the accused had hatched a conspiracy by stealing and dumping government hospital’s medicines to defame the DHQ Hospital MS. The report also proved that the machination aimed at ensuring transfer of the MS. Upon completion of the inquiry, the MS got registered the case with the City Police. No arrest has been made yet.
