ISLAMABAD: A clerk of National Police Foundation allegedly gunned down his neighbour in the rural area of the capital city on Saturday.
Police said Tahir Hussain and Wazir Zada lived in Dhoke Osmania locality of Tarnol and had old rivalry. On Saturday, Wazir picked some stones lying in front of Hussain’s house but the latter asked him to put them back there. When Hussain refused, a scuffle broke out between the two.
Later, Hussain brought a weapon and shot his neighbour dead. The local residents reached the spot and found Wazir, 40, lying in a pool of blood and Hussain standing beside with the weapon.
The villagers informed the police and shifted the injured to hospital where he was pronounced dead. The police have arrested the accused.
