Lahore: 2 young girls killed along with relative by ‘robbers’
LAHORE: Four unidentified persons allegedly shot dead two young girls and a relative of their father and injured their brother in a home in Sherakot police precincts on Saturday. The injured boy said robbers committed the killings, while the police suspected that it was a target-killing case.
The deceased were identified as Saba Habib, 14, Munazza Habib, 13, the daughters of one Habib Ahmad, a resident of Talat Park, Sherakot, while the third deceased person was identified as Muhammad Rafiq, a relative of Habib.
Akram, the son of Habib, was allegedly shot at and injured by the attackers. He told police that four persons barged into his house and locked him into a room.
They later killed his two sisters and his uncle and later shot at him and injured his hand before fleeing from the scene. Police removed the bodies to morgue for autopsy. Sherakot SHO Rana Amjad said police found three victims in a pool of blood under mysterious circumstances.
The police official added that a case would be registered on the complaint of the head of the family.
