Fake Peer caught looting house in Nankana
NANKANA SAHIB: A fake Peer was arrested for an attempt to loot a house by giving intoxicants to six people in the house here on Tuesday.
Accused Peer Syed Shahid Hussain Gilani of Nawab Shah came to the house of Dilamair to cure his paralysed daughter Nooran Bibi at Mashiwal. During the treatment, the accused gave intoxicated juice to all family members of the house including four women and two men. Having taken juice, they fainted and the accused started looting valuables from the house. In the meantime, Dilamair’s younger brother Hassan came there and started raising hue and cry to see the accused looting the house. On his noise, villagers rushed the house and caught hold of the alleged fake Peer. In custody, the Peer took some intoxicants by taking out from his pocket. Rescue 1122 teams reached the spot and shifted the victims to hospitals. The victims included Dilamair’s three daughters, 15 years old Mumtaz, 17 years old Shazia, 20 years old Maqdus, 12 years old son Zameer and Nooran Bibi. Later, Nooran Bibi, Maqdus and Shazia were shifted to Nankana DHQ Hospital. Mangtanwala police arrested the accused, who was in hospital.
