Karachi: 2 lose life in different incidents
KARACHI: Two people lost their lives and one other sustained injuries in two different incidents here on Wednesday. A man, father of two children, hanged himself to death at his house in Martin Quarters within the limits of Jamshed Quarter police station.
The incident took place in the early hours of Wednesday when 33-year-old Shoaib, son of Wali Mohammad committed suicide by hanging himself to death with the help of a rope tied with a ceiling fan at his house in Martin Quarters, Jamshed Road. A police official said the victim was a worker, and he committed suicide due to financial problems. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for an autopsy and later handed over to his family. Separately, one person was killed and other injured in a road accident on Native Jetty Bridge within the limits of Jackson police station. Kamran, 25, son of Ali Mohammad Kachhi and a resident of Moosa Lane was going to his home on a motorcycle when a speeding rickshaw hit him, resultantly he died on the spot while rickshaw driver Mohammad Nawaz received injuries. Police shifted them to Civil Hospital Karachi. No case was registered till filing the report.
