Karachi: Two killed in firing incidents
Karachi: Two people were murdered while two others received bullet wounds in separate incidents on Friday. Abdul Kabeer, 35, was shot dead by unidentified motorcyclists near Gulshan-e-Ghazi, Baldia Town.
The body was shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital by the police. However, it was later taken away by his family members without fulfilling the legal formalities.
The victim has left behind three children. He was killed as a result of personal enmity, the police claimed. Fifty-year-old Sher and his two sons Malokh, 35, and Imtiaz, 16 received bullet wounds when Malokh’s uncle Siddque and father-in-law Abdullah opened fire on them after an exchange of hot words outside their residence in Ghulam Bugti Goth.
The wounded were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital by other family members, where Malokh breathed his last. The body was shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) for legal formalities.
The deceased’s uncle and father-in-law were arrested and weapons were recovered. The police said the incident occurred as a result of a family dispute.
