Karachi: The decomposed body of a man bearing torture marks was found in the bushes near Nogori on the Super Highway in the Gadap City police limits on Sunday. Some passers-by saw his body and informed the police who shifted it to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for legal formalities.
The MLO JPMC said that the body was at least 15 days old and he was killed with a blunt weapon. Police claimed that it was an incident of target killing. Meanwhile, the body of Constable Raza Zadi, 45, was found in his residence in Dirpan Market in the Soldier Bazar police jurisdiction.
One of his neighbours informed the police who shifted the body to the Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for legal formalities. The MLO CHK said that Zaidi died after having some poisonous food. He was posted in Kharadar and lived alone in his flat.
