Karachi: Employee of fast food franchise shot dead
KARACHI: A gatekeeper of a multinational fast food franchise was shot dead in the Civil Lines police limits on Saturday. Police said Ali worked at a multinational franchise in the Boat Basin area as a gatekeeper. He along with his nephews, Shahzad and Nazakat, went to the City Courts for the hearing of a case on Saturday morning.
After the hearing, they were returning home in a rickshaw. When they reached near their house in Multani Para of Hijrat Colony, two men riding a motorcycle opened fire on them and fled.
Ali was taken to hospital, where he died. He hailed from Sargodha, Punjab. Police said it seemed that Ali was killed due to some enmity.
