Karachi: Woman, nephew remanded to police custody
Karachi: A woman and her nephew who allegedly killed her husband were remanded into police custody for seven days.
Zainab Bibi and her nephew Zaheer were produced in the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) of Justice Faisal Arab on Friday for allegedly killing her second husband Ahmed Abbas with the help of her nephew and attempted to dispose of the body parts by boiling it were given into physical remand for seven days.
While recording her statement before the police she said that she had killed her husband because he had attempted to assault her 18-year-old daughter from her first husband.
The couple was living in a rented house in Green Town. According to prosecution the area people informed the police that stench of blood and flesh was coming out of the house. Following the report received from the area people, police immediately reached the place and arrested the woman who had cut the victim’s body into small pieces and was boiling some of the pieces with some ingredients in it with the intention to throw these pieces outside the house.
The police also found her nephew Zaheer in the house whereas her daughter was missing.
