3 gunned down in Karachi
KARACHI: Three persons were gunned down in the city on Sunday. Imranuddin, 28, was shot dead near the Makro Store in Lines Area in the jurisdiction of the Brigade police by an unknown motorcyclist while he was returning home.
The area people informed the police who shifted the body to the JPMC for legal formalities.
Police said that his was a love marriage and when he came to his in-laws house and was returning home he was gunned down. Police said that he was the father of a six-month-old son. Police claimed that his in-laws could have been involved in his murder.
Motorcyclist Naushad, 40, was gunned down by two armed men on a motorbike near the market situated in Orangi Town No 10 in the Mominabad police jurisdiction. The armed men managed to flee.
The area people informed the police who shifted the body to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for postmortem. Meanwhile, a man killed his mother-in-law and injured his ex-wife and brother-in-law in Khokrapar on Sunday.
Saulah Khatoon, 55, wife of Jan Muhammad, her daughter Khursheed Bibi, 25, and son Muhammad Hassan, 33, suffered bullet wounds when Muhammad Aslam opened fire on them at their residence in Ramzan Lasi Goth. Area people informed the police, who took the injured to the JPMC. However, Saulah Khatoon died before reaching the hospital. The police claimed that the murder was the result of some family dispute.
