KARACHI: A drug pusher was killed in the Sharafi Goth area, while a cracker blast injured a passer-by in the Lea Market area on Saturday.
Zeeshan, 28, was shot dead in Sharafi Goth police limits. The incident happened early Saturday morning within Mohammed Nagar area of Sharafi Goth.
Police said 28-year-old Zeeshan, a resident of Telephone Exchange Wali Gali of Sharafi Goth, went out of his home for some work. As he neared Mohammad Nagar Chowk, two men shot and injured him and fled.
The injured was rushed to hospital, where he died. He had suffered two bullet wounds. The police found empty casings of TT and 30-bore pistols.
The police said Zeeshan was a drug pusher who had earlier been arrested by the Sharafi Goth police in two narcotics cases and had been on bail. They suspected some enmity behind the murder.
