Okara: Man killed in crossfire, brother injured
OKARA: A man was caught in crossfire between two rival groups and died on the spot while another sustained injuries in village 20/1/ R.B here.
The deceased and the injured were identified as Akram Maseh and his brother Aslam Maseh respectively. On the complaint of the deceased’s relatives, the police registered a murder case against Mazareen Renala State President Chaudhry Nadeem Ashraf and his brothers Waseem Ashraf and Naeem Ashraf.
Later, the dead body was shifted to a hospital for medical formalities. The heirs of Akram said that on a petty issue between children, the ex-nazim and his brothers not only killed Akram but also damaged their vehicles. On the other hand, Nadeem Ashraf claimed the case against them was false, saying that the applicants attacked their house and also opened fire.
