Gujar Khan: Highwaymen loot expat woman
GUJAR KHAN: A Pakistani expatriate woman was deprived of gold ornaments, valuables and currency notes while traveling on GT road on her way home here on Monday, the police sources said.
According to police sources Bilal Akram, a resident of Sialkot reported to the police that he and other family members received his mother at Benazir Bhutto International Airport on her return from USA on Monday morning.
As they were traveling on GT road and reached Majeed More area near Gujar Khan city, a car that was chasing them intercepted their vehicle at gun point and forced all the family members to hand them over belongings, gold ornaments and currency. The looters later fled away.
The police have registered a case and started further investigation.
